![]() Maybe it's just the amount traffic after all Though it'd be news to me if they had behavioral matching of encrypted VPN traffic. Next we need to figure out what's causing the detection. Just to be sure, the torrent client isn't seeding near 100% available bandwidth? This would too cause issues for download speed. I'm so lost and I have to get this figured out. I've read every article on the internet it seems. so WHAT could possibly be making this happen!?Īlso, I'm connecting wirelessly and can't connect through line in my office. My ISP can't be doing it through a VPN service, I know that. ![]() I'm pretty computer advanced, but I'm not advanced with routers and router settings are the only other thing I can possibly think of that could have anything to do with it. I have NO idea what it could possibly be. All seemed well through OpenVPN with their service and then BOOM, it did it again!!! So, I know it's not the VPN's doing it. So, I thought it was SurfShark limiting my bandwidth, so I tried a different VPN service to test it out. So, I then tried OpenVPN with their services and it was working and then, boom. Then, even through that measure, it started happening again. I ended setting up my VPN through Windows to connect to their services through IKEv2 and it worked, for a few months. So I tried to work with SurfShark for over 2 hours to get it fixed, but nothing worked. Every time I exited uTorrent, the speed would instantly go back to normal. I was using the SurfShark app and I started getting weird messages saying that my connection was being interrupted, and I also noticed that it wasn't just the torrents that got slow, it was my entire internet speed with webpages, ect. Going from around 16 mbps to less than 1, I realized I was being throttled somehow. I torrented regularly for years and then one day my torrenting speed just started to drop in speed about 5 minutes into torrenting and after exiting the program and starting again it happens again, but even faster. I've been through multiple VPN services and ended up with SurfShark, which I like very much. Ok, so I'm at my wits end here and I have no idea what to do.
